The work was carried out by idverde, a leading provider of grounds maintenance services and landscape creation projects, which delivered the first phase of regeneration and improvements to the green environments in Southmere and Parkview.

Each was designed to create quality and accessible green spaces on residents’ doorsteps. The estate was divided into several areas of activity, with idverde’s teams delivering the works over 16 separate sites. Opportunities for play were also introduced across the scheme with much of the landscape designed to be play-friendly for residents with young children.

Every project entered to the BALI awards, is subject to site visits and scrutinised by a judge who then decides with a panel of judges if the winners really do represent the best of landscape design and construction in the industry. The awards are designed to reward professional excellence and acknowledge the work that has been carried out on each individual project.
