Thamesmead Pollinator Corridor launch celebration

Monday 8 April

1.30pm - 3pm
Ridgeway (above The Link), Thamesmead, SE2 9XL
Find out more about the project here

The Thamesmead Pollinator Corridor Project invites you to the unveiling of the new creative signage on the Ridgeway, created by local artist and designer Ellen Strachan, in consultation with project partners and local people.

The project has been carried out in partnership with North West Kent Countryside Partnership, The Bumblebee Conservation Trust, University of East London, Ridgeway users and Bow Arts with funding from the Mayor of London.

As part of the project, the habitats to the side of the path and across a wider area of Thamesmead (including habitat boxes in community gardens) have been improved for pollinators. There have also been educational workshops for schools and the wider community.
