Gallions Lake - wetland planting consultation

Join Thames21 and Peabody at Broadwater Hub's Love Soup Café to have your say on the upcoming improvement works at Gallions Lake. 

In February, Thames21 will be installing two floating wetlands in Gallions Lake. These wetlands will help to improve the quality of the lake and provide a valuable habitat for fish, birds and insects.

We want your input on the types of plants we put in these wetlands. Everyone is welcome. Please make sure to wrap up warm and hot drinks will be available.

Details for the day:

• We'll be set up at the Love Soup Café from 12pm-3pm 🍲

• We will be displaying photos of a wide variety of aquatic plants and their benefits 🌱

• Every participant will be able to vote for the plants they'd like to be planted 🗳️

• We will also be displaying information about the pollution affecting Gallions Lake and the design and location of the floating wetlands📜
