Explore vivid designs and colourful murals
Bold, colourful artworks have transformed vast concrete walls and underpasses into open-air galleries across Thamesmead. There's a mix of vibrant new murals from local and international artists.
We've run several projects with artists, architects and community groups in recent years to bring more colour to the town and make underpasses feel more friendly and welcoming. Thamesmead hosted a new mural as part of the London Mural Festival in 2024. The town's artworks have been hailed as some of the world's most beautiful street art by online art magazine Widewalls.
