Thamesmead Community Fund

***The Thamesmead Community Fund opens on Monday 29 April***

Thamesmead Community Fund awards grants of up to £3,000 to individuals and organisations who want to deliver cultural or community projects that benefit Thamesmead’s residents.

This year, for the first time, the Making Space for Nature Fund will form part of the TMCF – providing funding to individuals and groups who want to transform Thamesmead’s green spaces and help people engage with nature. The Connecting Thamesmead programme, which aims to bring people together to improve health and wellbeing, is also joining the fund.

Applications should be made via the London Community Foundation. Click here to apply and to read details of the latest government and Peabody guidelines which all TMCF projects must adhere to. Applications close on Monday 20 May at 12noon.

There will be an online Q&A session for those who have any questions about the fund. The date for the session will be announced soon.

We are actively encouraging projects based at the Nest and the Moorings Sociable Club during this round. If you'd like to have a tour of either venue, please call our Community Properties Team on 0203 828 4920.

If your activity is taking place between 9am-5pm, Monday to Friday, both venues will be available for a subsidised rate of £10 per hour for your initial project period.

The money in the Thamesmead Community Fund comes from the fees that Peabody earns through location filming in Thamesmead and from the Peabody Community Foundation.
