Thamesmead festival is a contemporary performing arts festival that takes place over two months. As well as music, the festival boasts a line up including: theatre performances; markets; art installations and sporting events. You can also enjoy a wide selection of street food celebrating Thamesmead’s heritage all supplied by local vendors.

This year the festival will take place at various locations across Thamesmead – Birchmere and Southmere Park, The Moorings and the Town Centre during June, July and August. Highlights include: Exbury Egg by artist Stephen Turner, Luminary by Heinrich and Palmer and: Les Voyages, Compagnie XY. Click here for the full line up.


On the 6 July we will also run a social media scavenger hunt for your chance to enter a prize draw to win a Huawei tablet.
