Thamesmead Times: Revisited

Step back in time with local artist Chloe Cooper to explore Thamesmead’s past through the pages of the Thamesmead Times from the 1990s. Enjoy friendly conversation about the past, present and future of the area — all while enjoying free fish and chips, inspired by the phrase “today’s news is tomorrow’s chip paper.”

Together, you’ll create your own front pages by collaging favourite articles, adverts and photos, then printing them using the risograph machine at TACO! Print Studio.

This project is funded by the Thamesmead Community Fund, supported by Peabody and guided by a panel of local residents and stakeholders.
