Lakeside Centre Performance Evening

Friday 18 September
18:00PM-21:00PM
Lakeside Centre, Bazalgette Way, London, SE2 9AN

Join an evening of collaborative performance at the Lakeside Centre, led by artist Joanna Penso and featuring the work of multidisciplary artist Gusty Ferro.

Ahead of Lakeside Centre Open Studios, Bow Arts is hosting this special performance event. The evening will include a performance of their piece To Be Rendered by Joanna and glitch musician Alessandro La Barbera.

Sounds of Joanna's body moving will be amplified using stethoscope microphones, processed and layered into rhythmic patterns from a mixing desk.

Gusty Ferro will then present a selection of experimental contemporary music based on their monthly TRANSMEAD programme for RTM.FM. This will be followed by a live improvised performance using synthesisers, field recordings and a contact microphone.
