To achieve our plans, we will work with local people to seed and grow enterprise by providing business development support, seed funding, opportunities to trade, and where possible our own spaces to support and promote local entrepreneurship.

We'll also provide access to great employment opportunities by developing partnerships with a range of employers from across London. Alongside this we will support those who need help to build their employability skills.

We have already engaged with over 100 local entrepreneurs and delivered four pop-up markets. Our Future Skills Expo saw over 400 residents and schools learn about innovation and future career paths.

Our Thamesmead Information Hub is now open in Yarnton Way and our Thamesmead 50th fund has also launched. This provides grants of between £200 and £2,000 awarded throughout the year. The fund supports individuals, community groups, or local businesses who want to deliver activities in Thamesmead which help connect the community.
