New online service launched to respond to local environmental maintenance issues

Thamesmead residents can now report problems on their streets and in open spaces – such as fly-tipping, pest control and public lighting – through a brand new online service.

With FixMyStreet residents can now photograph, locate and report an environmental maintenance issue using their mobile phone. All reports will reach Peabody's environmental services team in Thamesmead, who will log the job and confirm when the issue has been fixed.

This new way of working is all part of Peabody’s plan to improve the day-to-day experiences of our residents and ensure Thamesmead is a place people are proud to call home.

Getting the basics right for residents is a key priority for Peabody. This means providing an effective repairs and maintenance service, investing more in our existing homes, and providing simple and easy access to our services through technology that's quick and easy to use.

FixMyStreet Pro is an great example of how we can offer a modern and responsive environmental maintenance service to Thamesmead residents.

Report your environmental maintenance issue.
