Two paid roles available for community-led Thamesmead Festival

The Thamesmead Festival team is looking for two ambitious local people to help deliver Thamesmead Festival 2026.

Are you a community champion, a cultural change-maker and enthusiastic about Thamesmead as a home to some incredible local talent? 

Do you have energy and passion to help shape the programme and deliver the production for this year’s Thamesmead Festival? If so, this is your chance to play your part in bringing this award-winning annual event to life.

There are paid opportunities available for a Festival Programmer and Festival Producer to join the team. Find out more about both roles and get details on how to apply in the job descriptions below.

The deadline for applications for both positions is Sunday, 1 March 2026.

Festival Programmer (Park Stage and Thamesmead Unplugged)

Work with residents on the Festival Advisory Board to select performers for the festival, liaise with the artists and make sure their performances go smoothly on the day.
