Ready to take to the stage in front of thousands of visitors to what Time Out calls “London's most unique festival”? Want to share your creative project amid what the Londonist describes as the “riot of colour” that is festival day in Thamesmead?
Now is your chance to get involved in making this year’s festival another unforgettable celebration of music, culture and community spirit.
Today, we’re launching an open call for performers and creatives for Thamesmead Festival 2026.
Open call for performers at Thamesmead Festival

We’re looking forward to bringing various art forms to the festival stages this year. Musicians, spoken word artists, dancers, magicians, comedians or any other performance art that you think we’re missing, we want to hear from you.
Applications close on Sunday 5 April 2026.
Open call for creative projects for Thamesmead Festival

We want artists and creatives from Thamesmead and the surrounding areas to bring even more colour and fun to the festival. Share your ideas for engaging workshops, interactive community projects and temporary art installations that work on a busy festival site.

Who decides?
As always, the festival will be shaped and led by the local community. When the open call closes, members of the Festival Advisory Board (FAB) and festival producers – local people who plan the festival programme – will handpick performers and projects for Thamesmead Festival 2026.
