Apply to create your own Thamesmead Mural - Closes on 19 May

Leave your mark on Thamesmead and apply to paint your very own mural on one of the town's walls.

We're looking to hear from Thamesmead locals, as well as London-based and national artists to express interest in applying for our mural commissions. If you've got a proven track record of painting large-scale murals or you're interested in taking your paintings and designs to the next level and scaling them up to the size of one of our walls we'd love to hear from you.

There are a number of walls available, ranging in size, material and texture — most are concrete or brick. Artworks will need to be painted murals that are two-dimensional and inoffensive.

Artwork to be painted between June and August 2023
Budgets from £1,000 to £8,000 including materials and dependant on size of wall
Application Deadline: 5pm on Friday 19 May 2023
