Byron Close Arches
We transformed the Byron Close arches as part of the improvements in the Moorings neighbourhood.
The arches are homes to a dance studio, gymnastics club, a church and community spaces.
Following discussions with the local community, design studio Alphabetical and partners KD productions created an eye-catching façade for the arches reflecting the wildlife and nature in Thamesmead.
In 2018 the arches received a Design Week award for ‘Wayfinding & Environmental Graphics’. [link to Byron Close Arches wins Design Week Award : Thamesmead (thamesmeadnow.org.uk)]
