Birchmere changing rooms

A dedicated group of local residents who form part of the Moorings Neighbourhood Forum have been developing plans to refurbish the changing rooms in Birchmere Park.

Originally designed to be used as changing rooms, the building had been closed for several years. It was identified by the community as a space that people really needed. As a result, forum members developed proposals to bring the changing rooms back into use. They collected feedback from hundreds of local residents along the way.
