YouthBuild

YouthBuild Ventures UK’s construction programme is a 13-week training course for young people aged 18 to 24. Participants learn skills such as plastering, drywalling, painting, decorating and tiling, as well as receiving health and safety training.

Across the YB100 programme, you will have the opportunity to develop your leadership, employability and construction skills through various workshops led by the team, with the ongoing tailored support of a Mentor.

Your Mentor will be a member of staff who you are matched with based on what support you feel you need most and where we feel we can be most beneficial to your progression. You will also have the opportunity to interact and network with potential employers, sit your Level 1 Health & Safety and get your CSCS Green Card.

Previous graduates have gone on to begin apprenticeships in the construction industry or land job roles in areas including site management, scaffolding and carpentry!
