Brightness of JuJu library commission
The Brightness of Juju is a story book co-authored by 120 children from Willow Bank and Harris Garrard primary schools.
It's a fictional story of Thamesmead set 70 years in the future. Only children live here and they have no memories of their ancestors.
The book was launched in the library at The Nest in July 2023 alongside a permanent sculpture which hangs from the ceiling of the library.
Anyone visiting the library can read the book and marvel at the beautiful artwork. Come along!
