Meeting point: Lakeside Centre, Bazalgette Way, London, SE2 9AN

From wildflower meadows to floating reed beds, come and join us as we visit places in Thamesmead where we’ve created more natural habitat for the local wildlife. We will be taking a walk around Southmere Lake and looking at the various improvements which have made the water quality better and increased the amount of flora and fauna.

Thamesmead has a rich landscape and maintaining and creating habitat for wildlife in one of our long-term goals.
