This unique area has opportunity for 20,000 new homes, thousands of new jobs, plus new leisure, cultural and commercial facilities.

The Plan

Our aim is to get Thamesmead residents healthier more active and into opportunities that are currently available in and around Thamesmead. We work with you on an individual bases to find out what your goals are, be that getting a job or training to volunteering opportunities or youth programmes.

Podcasting workshop

A comprehensive day aimed at supporting you to develop your own podcast for broadcast or distribution.

Led by Clare Lynch, a freelance producer and presenter who makes the Soho Then Podcast and works for Soho Radio.

The day looks at everything in the world of Podcasting, covering:


- Creating and producing content
- Developing your ideas
- Show formats
- Podcasting distribution and promotion
- Where to find funding for your podcasting

The workshop is £5, which covers the cost of lunch and refreshments through the day.
