This residential-led mixed use development on a previously unused site will deliver much needed new high quality affordable homes to Thamesmead. At the same time the scheme will also help enhance and support the regeneration of the local area.
Prior to construction two public consultation events were held on the 2nd and 5th March 2016. The events were attended by around 60 people over the two days.
Many visitors responded positively to the use of a vacant site for residential use, and were happy that improvements are being made to the local area, which will improve the local community and support businesses.
The provision of wheelchair adaptable units was particularly welcomed, along with dedicated accessible parking spaces.
