Job Title: 5 x Landscape Operatives
Location: Thamesmead, London and South East
Salary: Dependent on skills and experience however minimum London Living Wage
The London and South East projects team is growing after winning some exciting projects including South Thamesmead Public Realm; Whitfield Gardens, Camden and Garston Park, Watford. We’re building a directly employed team to support our operational delivery across London and the South East.
Do you fancy a new challenge in 2020? An opportunity has arisen for Skilled Landscapers and trades to join our successful, award winning team delivering projects for Local Authority and Main Contractor clients across London and the South East. These varied roles will include hard and soft landscaping and maintenance of installed schemes. You will play a key role in leading the delivery of public realm construction projects from £200,000 to £3m.
The ideal candidates will have experience in landscaping, proactive and self-motivated with a flexible approach to work. You will have the ability to work well under pressure whilst maintaining a positive and professional attitude. A full, clean driving license is desirable. NVQ Level 2 in Horticulture/related discipline, IOSH, SSSTS and CSCS desirable however full training will be provided.
Specific tasks will include the following:
· Hard landscaping including paving and masonry works.
· Tree and shrub planting, and mulching including preparation.
· Turfing and seeding including preparation.
· Maintenance visits to completed schemes to carryout grass cutting, shrub bed management and irrigation and minor repairs.
