Funded by Orbit- The aim of the project is to address racism and hate crime in the communities and school, using a creative youth-led approach to promote and increase equality of opportunities.
The project outcomes include an increased understanding of racism and other hate crimes, including how to report them and challenge it. Train and develop young ambassadors through our leadership training. Build partnerships with local schools and organisations with the aim to address racism and inequalities. Working with our partners who include Little Fish Theatre and Orbit.

Your responsibilities will build the capacity of young people through developing and delivering a new anti-racism programme within the community including schools.
You will take the lead on our campaigns, developing strategies.
Plan, deliver and organise weekly youth activities such as trainings and workshops. Be able to collate date and information that helps build up the projects aims.
You will address inequality, diversity, and inclusion, with the ability to inspire confidence in young people. Be able to understand youth work and community development principles, as a tool to achieve the aims.
You will engage with people who have lived experience of racism and discrimination.
With proven organisation, communication, and interpersonal skills you will have the ability to work independently and to deliver activity to agreed timeframes.
You will work with a range of stakeholders to achieve results and the ability to evaluate activities and demonstrate impact.
You will be a great communicator and able to articulate issues such as racism, on behalf of the young to audiences that might not have the awareness of issues that we work on.

Develop networks and partnerships to influence and build positive relationships, bringing people together.
Develop and market promotional material for the campaigns.
