There are many ways to get involved in your local community. You may have ideas on how we can work together to make Thamesmead a great place to live.
From guidance and practical tips on helping you to shape your own community whether its setting up community projects or groups, joining neighbourhood forums, getting things done locally or accessing funding we’re here to support your idea.
If you need support with issues which are affecting your health and well-being we can offer assistance through our Positive Steps Thamesmead programme.
There is lots going on in Thamesmead, and here’s where you can discover the school holiday programmes and see what’s on.
It’s also where you can learn about ways to get active. If you’re a complete beginner or want to progress an active and healthy lifestyle you can see what’s on offer through our sport and fitness programmes, which also offer routes to employment and training. There’s something for everyone from fitness classes and fun runs to indoor cycling, boxing and racket sports, get involved in making Thamesmead a great and vibrant place. Sign up today.
