WATCH: Fields of EveryWhen hot air balloon prototype

Watch as a small-scale protoype of the Fields of EveryWhen hot air balloon takes flight.

Internationally acclaimed artists, Neil Musson and Jono Retallick (M+R), are inviting everyone with ties to Thamesmead to share their personal stories, memories and remarkable tales of the area, or to respond creatively to the stories others have shared. Stories and responses will become part of a 25m high sculptural hot air balloon ‘Fields of EveryWhen’ celebrating the social and cultural history of the community.

Watch the video to see a small-scale prototype of the balloon take flight.

The completed 25m high balloon will be flown over Thamesmead later this year. Everyone who has a personal story, memory or interesting tale to share about Thamesmead is invited to contribute to this incredible project. All of the stories shared will feature in the final artwork.

Get involved and share your story.
