We’re excited for the return of the Thamesmead Festival this summer which will be taking place on Saturday, 14 August 2021 from 12pm – 7pm at Southmere Park. This year we're welcoming traders, as well as charities and community groups who want to set up their own stalls at the festival.
Following on from two successful festivals in 2018 and 2019, this year’s event will focus on local talent and celebrate all things Thamesmead. It will be a fun-filled, family-friendly event which we're working closely with our resident-led Festival Production Group to deliver. The group is being supported by live event producer, Serious.
As with all of our events we’re keeping a close eye on Covid-19 developments and will adhere to any government guidelines in place at the time of the event.

Stalls for small businesses
We're working with CC Events UK to find small businesses who'd like to trade at this year's event. If you're a local crafter, maker, artist, designer, artisan, or you have any other creative business, then we want to hear from you!

Stalls for charities and community groups
This year we're looking for charities and community groups active in Thamesmead who'd like to have a presence at the festival. There will be space for 15 community stalls on the day of the event which can be used free of charge for those who want to share information about their work in the community. This could include running small-scale workshops and activities, or handing out freebees (no selling products please).
All applications will be discussed with the Festival Production Group, who will have the final decision on the use of stalls.
The deadline for submissions is Friday 18 June 2021 and successful applicants will be notified by the end of June.
