Thamesmead Community Fund 2025

The Thamesmead Community Fund is open from Tuesday 22 April to Monday 19 May 2025.

Thamesmead Community Fund awards grants of up to £3,000 to individuals and organisations who want to deliver cultural or community projects that benefit Thamesmead’s residents.

We accept applications for projects taking place in publicly accessible venues and on Peabody land, providing these are safe to access and all relevant health and safety documents have been submitted.

In 2024, for the first time, the Making Space for Nature Fund formed part of the Thamesmead Community Fund – providing funding to individuals and groups who want to transform Thamesmead’s green spaces and help people engage with nature. The Connecting Thamesmead programme, which aims to bring people together to improve health and wellbeing, also joined the fund.

If you're interested in applying but want to find out more, join our online Q&A on Wednesday 30 April 2025 at 5.30pm to ask us questions. To attend, please use the link here

Apply to the Thamesmead Community Fund here (please note: this link will be updated when applications open on Tuesday 22 April).

The deadline for applications is Monday 19 May 2025 at 12noon.

If you have any questions about the fund, please email communitygrants@peabody.org.uk

The Thamesmead Community Fund is run by Peabody, the London Community Foundation, and an advisory group of local residents and stakeholders. The money for the fund comes from the fees that Peabody earns through location filming in Thamesmead and from the Peabody Community Foundation.
