Talk of Thamesmead is Peabody’s quarterly 20-page newspaper for Thamesmead residents. It lets people know about the great things happening across the town and how to get involved in them.

About the role

We’re looking for a brilliant freelance editor/writer to source stories and manage the production of each issue, starting in November 2024. The successful candidate must be prepared to meet and interview members of Peabody’s team in Thamesmead and key community members in person.  

Talk of Thamesmead will include relevant information, be informative and interesting, and provide value for money. We would like to hear your ideas on the content and format of the current publication, and how it could be improved. We’d also like to hear your ideas on how to evaluate each edition.
