Summer in the Park will bring live music, dancing, food and drink, games and community fun to Gallions Park on Saturday, June 27, between 1pm and 6pm.
The event, which is funded by Peabody and the Royal Greenwich Festivals 2026, will include musician, producer, songwriter and DJ Sharifa, bringing his energetic and creative sound to the park.
With interactive dance performances by Sonia Sabri Company taking place throughout the day, visitors will see a Mughal hunter prowling around the park, trying to capture a fast and agile gazelle.
Local dance group Dynamix Dance are showcasing their street dance talents, while Hilltop Ceilidh are set to get the park rocking with their lively brand of folk music. After their performance, they will host a ceilidh, giving everyone a chance to dance to the infectious rhythms.
Thamesmead vocalist, songwriter and community music leader J Cocoa is hosting an open-mic session. She will then close Summer in the Park with a powerful live performance, blending jazz, soul and fusion.
A series of art and crafts sessions, including clay modelling and chalk drawing, also take place during the event. There will also be food, crafts and community stalls for visitors to explore.

“Summer in the Park 2026 has something for everyone. The whole community is welcome to come along, connect, and enjoy a great day out together.”
This is the fifth year that a Summer in the Park event has been held in Gallions Park.
