We are excited to announce the full list of activities taking place over the Thamesmead Festival weekend, 15-17 September 2017.

Celebrate the past, present and future of Thamesmead during the weekend, which promises something for everyone. Featuring the best of Thamesmead's creative talent, we'll be celebrating everything about the town including its unique green open spaces and waterways and iconic buildings.

See Thamesmead as you have never seen it before, from double decker bus tours, architectural and historic walking tours, iconic building tours and virtual reality tours, to a light spectacular at Southmere Lake. All this as well as the relaunch of Tump 53, the Archway Project's 35th birthday celebrations and a carnival procession to the top of Gallions Hill.

We hope you enjoy the weekend. Now all there is to do is read through the full Thamesmead Festival 2017 programme, mark what you want to see and do and come along and enjoy yourself.

See you there!
