There’s something for everyone in Thamesmead this October half term (23-27 October 2017).

We have been working with partners to produce a programme of activities which includes enterprise talks, a pop-up market, fashion show, indoor climbing and spooky Halloween fun.

Half term will also see Thamesmead’s leading youth and community centre, The Link Thamesmead celebrate its fifth birthday. Offering a creative workshop for 11-25 year olds interested in a career in the fashion industry and ‘Made in Thamesmead’ offering enterprise talks, workshops and a fashion show.

You can get involved in the ‘Because I can’ art project which will ask you where your favourite place is in Thamesmead and why and what you love most about the town you call home. Results will be showcased as a piece of art at The Link.

There's also the screening of a short-film, ‘A Day in the Life of The Link’ which was made by students of Ravensbourne College.

All of the activities above are taking place on Thursday 26 October at The Link Thamesmead, Bazalgette Way, SE2 9BS. Find out more about these and all the other activities that are taking place by downloading the full October half term activities programme.
