Whatever your age, there’s strong scientific evidence that being physically active can help you lead a healthier and even happier life. That’s why we provide low cost, high quality services to engage people of all ages in sports and physical activity.

Last year 640 children, across six local schools, took part in the Thamesmead Primary School’s ‘keepy-uppy’ football challenge. We’ll be running this hugely popular Sports Relief event again this year.

In fact, over the last four years 3,100 people have taken part in over 48,000 hours of activity sessions locally. We will continue to provide low-cost activities in Thamesmead, so please keep an eye on our website for a brand new activity programme
which will launch in July.

Chrissie, a local resident, said “I started coming along to sessions about 18 months ago. The sessions have improved my fitness, motivation and given me a zest for life. I have lost over three stone, completed the London to Brighton cycle ride along with completion of several 5k runs! It’s all made a huge impact on my well-being.”

For further information please contact Sporting Club Thamesmead, [email protected] or call 0203 828 4920.

New fitness offer
£3 per session, £15 per month or £35 for 3 months.
