Help make Thamesmead’s waterways and pathways nicer and cleaner for everyone to enjoy.

We are working in partnership to make Thamesmead a place people choose to live, work and volunteer.

Join Thames21 who work across London to help improve our rivers, canals, ponds and lakes for people and wildlife:

  • Tuesday 23 May, Crossway Park Lake clean-up, 9.30am - 12.30pm. Help to remove rubbish and pruning. Meeting at: Crossway Park (access via 38 Glendale Way), SE28 8HA
  • Thursday 15 June, Crossway Park Lake clean-up, 1-3.30pm. Help to remove rubbish, pruning and pennywort removal. Meeting at: Crossway Park (access via 38 Glendale Way), SE28 8HA

Meanwhile, North Kent Countryside Partnership (NWKCP) will be holding a clean-up along The Ridgeway:

  • Sunday 28 May, The Ridgeway Path litter pick, 10am - 12.30pm. Help to remove rubbish between Plumstead station and The Link Thamesmead. Meeting at: Plumstead train station at 10am

You can register your interest in advance with Thames21 or NWKCP, or just turn up.
